HOW TO USE IT
Compare cost with your own use
Choose a completed billing period and count the uses you value in that same period. Divide the charge by those uses. An annual charge should be compared with a full year of uses, not one month of activity.
Your comparison amount is a reference you choose. The calculator shows the minimum whole number of uses needed to reach it. This is only one way to think about value: convenience, quality and an occasional essential use may matter more than a low number.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
An 18-unit charge used six times is 3 per use. At a comparison amount of 2 per use, it would take nine uses.
Zero uses produces no cost-per-use figure. Nothing here accesses an account or cancels a subscription.
